University of Burgos (UBU) is one of the fourth Universities of the region of Castilla y León. 13th position among Spanish Universities.  ICCRAM was established in 2014 as a competence centre of the University devoted to Critical Raw Materials. Nowadays, this international centre carries out different researching activities in six principal lines: Environmental Biotechnology, Sustainability, Microbiology & toxicology, Biomedicine & cellular toxicology, Material design & modelling; and Electrochemistry & Energy Storage.

Additionally, the lab investigates microbial cell carriers, metabolic modeling, bacterial cell physiology, and the design of cellular and molecular sensors for biotechnological and environmental applications.  

Kepler Ingeniería y Ecogestión, Ltd. is a company with more than 30 years of experience and more than 1,110 completed projects, specialised in the development and application of the latest techniques to offer high quality technical and economic solutions. 

Its interdisciplinary team and biotechnology laboratory support its expertise in diverse areas, including environment, energy, industrial safety and biotechnology. Kepler works in soil and water remediation, claims management, inspection, due diligence, hydropower plants, biogas and advanced bioprocess development with a comprehensive approach to soil, water and air matrices.

Limnos Ltd. is dedicated to developing and applying different treatment wetlands and other nature-based solutions for water treatment, water retention, climate change adaptation, and biodiversity support. The company has been dedicated to NBS since its establishment in 1994. Our interdisciplinary team works with several partners and stakeholders in Slovenia and abroad. 

The company is dedicated to providing environmental solutions to different sectors: agriculture (run-off mitigation, vegetation buffers, and ecosystems), environmental protection (various treatment wetlands, adaptation of management of lakes/reservoirs), waste and water management (landfill leachate treatment, constructed wetlands and sludge drying reed beds), energy (mitigation measures, ecologically acceptable flow). Biorem will be a valuable approach for improvement in phytoremediation solutions.
